Challenge!

Hi,
I normally post my challenges just on my Facebook page. (Go check it out) But this time I thought that I would mention it on her too! There wont be a prize this time but If I can get enough followers by my birthday (August 25) Then I will do a huge blog candy give away! So tell all your friends!

Challenge:
Make something patriotic!!!

Father's Day!

Having to post this card late because I didn't want my dad to see it! My dad loves motorcycles and he has a Harley that is black and orange. So I decided to make him a card based on his bike. I added brads to give it the metal studs look that so many bikes have. Also, It is hard to tell but the black paper is textured. It kind of looks like water drops on a leather seat. So I thought it was appropriate. I also inked the edges in black to give it that rough masculine look. I made a matching envelope. The card is 4x4.

U Rock!

I am not sure exactly what I think about this card. I like it but there is something off about it. I am not sure if its because there is a lot of blue or what.

I do know that I need to start using my camera to take pictures instead of my phone. Here is a close up.

Hello Baby!

This is the card I made for my second challenge over on my Facebook page. The Challenge was to use something to make your project sparkle. I used glitter glue to make the dots and bubbles sparkle.

Here is a close up of the glitter.

New Technique!

Hello Everyone!

I tried a new technique today. I saw something somewhere that showed you can ink your Cuttlebug folder and when you emboss you paper, the ink will show up. So I decided to try it. It worked well with some folders but with the Stylized Flower folder I ended up having to go back over the embossed image with an inked up Q-tip. I really like the way the background turned out.
